Welcome to Burn Bright not Out Burnout Court!

Burn Out Court is created as a way to support an individual, as the plaintiff, who shares incidents and situations where burn out occurred. Please note that this website is aware that burnout is not a joke or a game. Since there is no publicized legal importance for support for individuals to reduce burnout, this court could possibly provide understanding of experience and what solutions would be helpful. There are many experiences professionally and personally, where the individual does not receive any support or conflict resolution to assist with preventing or reducing burn out. Most companies and employers only have a Human Resource department that are efficient in resources of healthcare, finances, and trainings, not Employee Rights.

In this court the Burn Bright not Out community will be the judge that will decide the sentence for the incident or situation presented.

Example. Case: I worked at a physical therapy rehab office in two positions as a therapy technician and a receptionist, after receptionist quit, only receiving a salary for one position for three months. When I requested the owner of the facility increase my salary for providing service in two roles, I received an ultimatum from management of keep working both positions while receiving the payment for one position or quit.

Sentence: Management is required to attend empathy training; plaintiff is hereby released from this facility after providing exceptional service under financial restrains.

Example. Case: I volunteer for the Parent Teacher Association, PTA, at my child school. I have noticed that during bake fundraiser events I always receive the responsibilities of set up which can interfere with my abilities to take care of my children in the morning or be in the house when the children get home in the afternoon, I also work a full-time job. I want to say something to the PTA president but every time I think about talking about my time restraints, I feel guilty, especially when the PTA president tells me “This is what I am good at“.”

Sentence: PTA President is required to rotate fundraiser responsibilities; plaintiff is hereby released from guilt and needs to set a balance of time between self-service and volunteer service

Please remember the responses in court are for connecting, engaging, and supporting one another. Any response of bullying, hate, or verbal abuse against the plaintiff will be held in contempt of court and removed!
