Are we at the “end of” ?

If you are a spiritual believer or participate in religious practices, you may feel that the increase in financial struggles, violence, racism, sexism, weather/environmental dangers, and wars, after wars, after wars are signs of the end of mankind. There are studies that show proof that sometimes having a belief in something greater than oneself can help manage the fear of the “unknown” which can reduce depression and anxiety that can develop burnout. When the world opened back up after the pandemic Societies behaviors seems to have changed some for the better and some for the worst.

Some are no longer willing to be involved with companies or friends and family that do not have empathy and consideration for others well-being. Some have decided that deceit, gaslighting, hate, scamming, and violence is the tool to gain control and power. In a way it can feel like the end of reason because the collaboration, consideration, empathy, kindness, and humanity is slipping away.

If one is not burned out from work responsibility or relationship struggles then the new challenges in society can develop burnout. Here is a thought.. what if it is the end of allowing the violent and heartless individuals to control others. As human beings we have free will to practice empathy, kindness, and optimism to balance self-care with care for others.
